Terms of Use
Last updated June 2026
By using Safe Average you agree to these terms. Please read them.
What Safe Average does
Safe Average helps you keep your own average speed at or below a limit you enter, including inside average-speed (point-to-point) camera corridors. It measures your driving and suggests a speed to hold. It does not detect speed cameras, report law enforcement, or replace your attention to the road and the law.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for driving safely and obeying all traffic laws. Speed limits, tolerances and camera rules vary by country, and the values you enter are your responsibility. Set the app up before you set off and do not interact with it while driving. Never let the app distract you from the road.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app.
Purchases
Safe Average Pro is a one-time purchase sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Billing, refunds and restoration are handled by those stores under their terms. Pro features unlock once your purchase is validated.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. GPS accuracy varies with hardware and conditions, and all figures, averages and suggestions are estimates. We do not guarantee that following the app keeps you within any legal limit.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safe Average and its makers are not liable for fines, penalties, accidents, loss of data, or any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
